The Golden Age of the Dwarfs is long past, their Empire shattered by natural disaster and war.
Yet even in these darkest of days come brief glimmers of hope. Word has spread of Prince Ulfar's expedition to Mad Dog Pass and the many grudges he settled there against the vile Ratmen. Tales also abound of the gold mines he now holds and rumors whisper of the riches they contain. Yet even this flicker of light casts a shadow and for the Dwarfs of Mad Dog Pass it may soon be snuffed out.
