This Week's Update - 19/06/2009

Happy Friday, Irish Gamers.

Today we have three games for you, set in three different time zones, with three different systems - AD&D (3rd Ed), Pendragon and In Nomine. When first ran, it lasted around 10 hours. "The Ark" - by Colm Lundberg.

Next week, Nick will be doing the updating, as I'll be heading to Belfast for Q-Con, the gaming and anime convention ran by the Dragonslayers gaming society of Queen's University Belfast. If you want more information about the con, there's a link to their website in our Links Section. Hope to see some of you there!

Enjoy!

Hey ho everyone! It's article week here at IrishGaming.Com, and we've two new articles for you this week. Firstly, we've an article entitled "7 Habits Of Effective Con-Goers" by our regular correspondant Brian Nisbet. Secondly, there's the first in a series of articles about LARP writing by yours truly (hey - write what you know!) that might be helpful for folk considering writing a LARP for the first time, or looking to try something entirely new - It's called "Plotless LARP."

Secondly, you'll have noticed (you *did* notice, didn't you?) that we've added in a swishy new "comments" function onto the site. Go on - say hi! We'd love to know who's reading here and what you think of what we do. Comments are enabled here on the "news" page, and for each of our articles.

Enjoy the sun while it lasts!

Wait, so you're saying I'm the one who does NOT get distracted by shiny things? I'm quite well known for my magpie type tendencies, thank you very much!

Yes, scenarios! This week we have two new games for you - "Undead Kings Of Yore" is an RPG from Itzacon 2009 by Paddy Delaney and Geebo, and "Night At The Office" is a LARP by Sandra Duggan.

We have also decided that these guys, in no uncertain terms, rock.
That is all. Happy Dice-Rolling!Write Comment (1 comments)
