Hello there, Irish Gamers!
It has been awhile as I've been off galavanting in faraway lands, including San Diego for Comic Con, but I'm back now, and over the jetlag so it's back to work! Nick has been wonderful and done the last four Friday updates on the site - thanks Nick!
Today, I have two Roleplaying Scenarios for you from Padraic Barrett from this year's Q-Con in Belfast. "The Verdigris Flux" is a Dark Heresy game, and "Fools Gold" is Warhammer Fantasy!
I hope that keeps you going for awhile!

Back from holidays!
I'm back in the country from Sunday last, and I'm reliably informed that Noirin will be back at the keyboard come Monday, so let's recommence with the weekly updates! This week we present two LARPs by Sandra Duggan - iSpy 2 and Vampire the Requiem (which we're told never actually ran. Won't someone give it a nice home?)
Thanks for the comments about future competitions, folks - we'll be taking them all on board when our next competition rolls around. Keep watching for Dave's winning competition scenario in the next couple of weeks! Write Comment (3 comments) |

Lots of stuff to update with! Firstly, we have a winner for our competition - The spectacularly lovely and talented Dave McGowan, GM extraordinaire, part-time actor and general ConFESS organisey bod. Sadly, it's a default win - Dave's was the only scenario we received for the competition. Perhaps this was due to the tight deadline we gave ye all and perhaps not - the next competition we run will be of a different format, and that's the way we'll go until we find a format for competitions that works. Congratulations Dave! We'll see the scenario in question in the coming weeks.
In terms of updates, this week we present the next episode of Natural 20's Random Thought Table which this fortnight is all about love, in-character. We've also got a scenario of mine called "Continuity Error" which I don't count as my finest hour. Worth reading as a curiosity, or perhaps to find the flaws in it. Speaking of which, is anyone interested in picking apart a scenario (like this one) in a discussion format on the forum? For us all to learn from, obviously, rather than just to make poor Nick miserable. Think of it like a book club for LARP scenarios!
On an administrative note, being as how I'm going to be away doing beaches and theme parks from next Friday, and Noirin is tripping the light fantastic in San Diego at ComicCon we'll be taking a fortnight's break from next week.
