This Week's Update - 28/08/2009
Written by Nick Huggins

Sorry about the update last week - it sort of got away with me after the sleepless weekend and a busy week. Back to normal this week, and I've buffered the two weeks' updates together.

This week ye get two scenarios by me - "History Repeats" (which is very barebones and serves as an introduction to my "backgrounderator" LARP character creation technique) and "Thingummy Bob's", which is much more meaty but also uses backgrounderator. I'll discuss backgrounderator in a forthcoming "LARP Experiments column."

You lucky things, you also get the next thrilling installment of "Natural20's Random Thought Table", which this time focusses on ConFESS in Sligo (coming toward the end of September, folks!)

Happy gaming!

Just to let ye all know... this week's update will be a little late, owing to the complexity of the next 24 hours for yours truly. Sorry about that!

Edit: Actually, it's going to be a bit later than that. To briefly explain, in the last 48 hours I've gone from Ireland to the UK to rescue a sick relative, driven about a thousand kilometers and slept four about 90 minutes in the car. Shattered. Give me a day or two.

Hello there, Irish Gamers!

It has been awhile as I've been off galavanting in faraway lands, including San Diego for Comic Con, but I'm back now, and over the jetlag so it's back to work! Nick has been wonderful and done the last four Friday updates on the site - thanks Nick!

Today, I have two Roleplaying Scenarios for you from Padraic Barrett from this year's Q-Con in Belfast. "The Verdigris Flux" is a Dark Heresy game, and "Fools Gold" is Warhammer Fantasy!

I hope that keeps you going for awhile!
