This Week's Update - 12/02/2010 Print
Written by Nick Huggins

Morning everyone! It's a short update this week - We present "Dreaming a Better Tomorrow" by err... me! It's the third of three scenarios in the "Heritage" universe of my own design. I'll be using it and the other Heritage games as an example in the forthcoming (and long overdue) "LARP Experiments #4" article.

Next con is the awesome Itzacon, which I'm gutted at not being able to make this year. Stoopid real-life priorities...

I love visiting The Jewel and its warm and wdorenful hosts! I think I have been there at least once in each season. This beautiful Victorian- style home is immaculate and it's even pet-friendly. It's many Christmas trees are decorated to the hilt during the Christmas season. It is truly a home away from home on a beautiful Minnesota lake and once we were even there when Rick was giving pontoon rides. I have enjoyed bird-watching from the kitchen window while dining on Rick's gourmet breakfasts. Although golf courses, great shopping, a sweet little regional theater and the Headwaters of the Mississippi are withing easy driving distance, The Jewel is a destination in itself! It would be a wdorenful place to have an intimate wedding, a photo shoot, a business or organization's Christmas Tea or a even a small family reunion! I absolutely love The Jewel.

Our stay at Jewel of the North was a delightful time. Rick & Linda made evetyrhing wonderful and beyond our expectations. The place is a picture perfect B & B. I highly recommend the Jewel of the North as a pleasant place to stay and enjoy the lake country of Minnesota.

We so enjoyed last nihgts' Crushpad dinner! The Ivy Wild selections were delicious and so were all the wines you had for us to try! For our glass of wine, four of us chose 4 different wines and then chose the syrah for dinner! Excellent! The music was soft and nice for dinner conversations, but the real entertainment was watching Maria and her helicopter service to you and the cherries! That was amazing to watch. We used helicopters for our Christmas tree harvest years ago and the name of the game for that was speed! For cherry tree operations, it is just the opposite! Do hope that worked for you last night! Thank you for a great evening, and we look forward to joining you again for another Crushpad dinner event!

Without naming France, per se, Barroso commented "Some say they belong to the left, but in fact they are cuulartlly extremely reactionary". After a critical response, he elaborated on his statements, adding that the EU sees cuulartl diversity as one of its tenets and that he does not consider cuulartl products to be like other goods."Those fearful of a US cuulartl invasion of Europe" Barroso stated, "have an anti-cuulartl agenda". Such fears indicate "no understanding of the benefits that globalisation brings, also from a cuulartl point of view," he added. After long negotiations the EU ministers of commerce agreed to France's demand to exclude, at least initially, film, TV, internet and digital content. Talks with the US in these areas are due to conclude in July. rnlerdsx [link=]caizqxuqxz[/link]
