Oops, teeny bit late with the update this week! Blame the distraction of chocolate eggs - Happy Easter, Irish Gamers! This week we have a scenario from the fabulous and lovely Anita Murray. A Game of Words is a Nobilis RPG which was run at Warpcon 2010. Happy Gaming! Write Comment (0 comments)

Good morning, Irish Gamers!

This weekend, we have another convention to look forward to - Vaticon 16 is taking place in University College Dublin. There are a lot of interesting events going on, including more than one 'All Day LARP' and the timetable kicks off with an RPG this evening at 6pm. Nick and I will be at the convention tomorrow, and hope to see plenty of you there!

In light of the weekend that's in it, we have a game for you from Vaticon a few years ago, Punch Drunk in Paradise by Cian "Icecream" O'Sullivan! Enjoy!

O hai! Well Leprecon happened and it was awesome - you can hear all about it on the Adventuring Party podcast, where not only do they describe what happened, but do it in reverse chronological order (which hurts my head.) We was there running our games, and this week you can read up on Noirin's game "The Quest for the Blue Rose", fresh from the con!

In other news, we're still busily (and slowly) sprucing up the "Search Scenarios by System" section of the scenario bank. You'll see lots of new categories being added in there to better allow folk to find what they're after. We've added a couple of dates to the calendar - Bro-Con in July and Vaticon... the week after next, out in University College Dublin. We're not sure how that one escaped us for so long! One or other or both of us will be at both cons - I'm hoping to be running something at Bro-Con. Hope to see ye all at both!

This is the shortest update in ages and ages because I need to be running a LARP in a couple of hours or so. Please be upstanding for "The Ithorian Job" by the very awesome Michael Calnan, originally run at Warpcon 2010 just a few months ago.

Afternoon, Irish Gamers!

It's Friday again and we wanted to remind you that Leprecon is taking place next weekend - starting Friday 12th and finishing on Sunday 14th of March.

Our game today - "O’Grady’s Farm: A Tale of Farmyard Fun. Oh, and Revenge. Don't Forget the Revenge." - is a GURPS game from a Leprecon gone past by Cian "Icecream" O'Sullivan. Icecream, who ran Leprecon last year, is a new writer to IrishGaming.Com but by no means a new writer in the Irish Gaming Scene.

Myself and Nick will be at Leprecon for most of the weekend, and we'll both be running games in the morning slots - mine on Saturday and Nick's on Sunday - so keep a look out!

So, yeah, Leprecon...and did I mention Leprecon?
