Update: Cogs & Dogs and Midway Print

Hello there, Irish Gamers!

It has been awhile since the last update, mainly because Gaelcon and Midway and other things have been looming on our horizons, and effectively obscuring our view of other things! Today, however, we have a scenario for you all from the lovely Ian Power.

Cogs and Dogs, which was run two weeks ago at Gaelcon 2010, is Ian's first game to be added to the IrishGaming.Com Scenario Bank, and it has been garnering much attention owing to a Facebook-based campaign aimed at convincing him to write a sequel! If you read/run/play it and end up loving it, feel free to head over and lend your support!

"Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November" - and this date brings us to the third installment of Nick Huggins' Midway LARP - "One Wheel On My Wagon, But I'm Still Rolling Along". If you're in the mood for a game this evening, head on over to the HRTA, Swords!

As always, we're looking for more games to add to the IrishGaming.Com Scenario Bank, so if you have any games lying around that you'd like to see published on here, send them on!

Happy gaming, everyone!

So I've been off doing my own thing for the past couple of weeks - one indy LARP in production, and then we're in the run up to Gaelcon. So I've been neglecting my duties and letting Noirin take all the glory!

The update this week is the scenario "Further Down the Rabbit Hole" by Wayne O'Connor. It's the sequel to the scenario "Burnout" which we also carry on the site. Hope you enjoy it!

Hello, Irish Gamers and Happy Friday!

Today we have published a game n the scenario bank from Cian "Icecream" O'Sullivan, his fifth game in our scenario bank which contains approximately 260 games to date. The Hog-Eye Man was originally run at Vaticon.

Many of you may have heard the recent furore about Midway, a new ongoing LARP being organised by our very own Nick Huggins, the first installment of which will be running tonight - Friday September 3rd - at the Hit-And-Run Tactical Assault (HRTA) airsoft in Swords! If you find yourself at a loose end for the evening, do take a look around the website and feel free to wander over there! The game will be running from 6pm - 11pm, and is looking to be a damn good show! If you can't make it along tonight, never fear - keep an eye here on IrishGaming.Com or on the Midway site for updates on the next game which is scheduled for Friday, 24th September, in the same location.

Break a leg, you guys (Please don't actually break anything!)

Woohoo, it's sunny and I've almost (almost) got that Friday feeling! Right - Here we are again with another great addition to the scenario bank here at the Irish Gaming Towers!

This time, we have a game which was originally run at Warpcon 2009 by the ever-lovely Anita Murray, a GURPS: Hellboy RPG called City of the Invincible Sun. You know you want to play it!

So, I'm off to "enjoy the sun", by which I mean "write up a post about a gaming logo competition, then do up some blurbs for Gaelcon, amongst other things". ;) Have a good weekend, folks!
