You may have heard whispers. You may have heard rumours. You may have heard nothing. At last, we can break our secrecy and let you know about the most special of Special Events planned for Leprecon 28: The musical that cannot and must not be staged, "A Shoggoth on the Roof", will be taking place in Goldsmith Hall during Leprecon for two full performances!!

In his house in R'lyeh dead Cthulhu lies dreaming - but he shall awaken!

For those of you who don't know (shame on you!), "A Shoggoth on the Roof" is a cult musical parody of "Fiddler on the Roof" based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Featuring shoggoths, deep ones, byakhee, Great Old Ones and even greater musical numbers, this insane travesty of a musical tracks the occult happenings in Arkham, Massachussetts as witnessed by Professor Henry Armitage and his three daughters.

We will be holding auditions for "Shoggoth" on Saturday the 18th November from 10am until 1pm in the Room 2A in Goldsmith Hall(Where we have the LARPS) on Trinity College campus, and would like to invite anyone with singing/dancing/acting interests who lives in the Dublin area to please attend. Bring a song you've prepared and let the voices in your head take over! For more information, contact Stephen on stevo991©hotmail.com / 085-7391915.

Be there or be non-Euclidean!

Apparantly our producer is getting really nervous that no-one's going to show up, so appease him and turn up to auditions. We can't run this thing without actors after all.

Can't you just summon a few?

Don't have enough magic points. It's a pretty complex spell after all. But we are trying that with the Bhyakee and the Mi-go. We didn't think it would be a good idea to let a Shoggoth loose in inner-city Dublin though. Poor thing might get injured.

Auditions happened today...

We had one person turn up. Thanks Lou.

There will be another round of auditions Wednesday evening from 6 until 8, possibly slightly longer.

If you want to take part but cannot make this audition time, contact Stephen, our producer who's e-mail is in the OP and tell him.

Remember, this thing won't happen if we can't get the actors.
